NEW Eibach Rear Sway Bar

I don't know if anyone has seen the new sway bar, but i had the old gen one and it snapped on me in probably less than 5,000 miles, and now i just got my new one in today that Eibach that they had said they were "Redesigning" for free of course.

It seems to be alot thicker towards the ends where my old one snapped. I just wanna see what you guys have to say about this "new" one, if it looks any better than the last.

Just let me know what you think.

^You can see where it snapped on the left side^

I just installed mine last night, I also had mine replaced from the broken one, I don't like how it's so close to the frame, it vibrates so loud it sounds like there's something wrong with your rear, I don't know maybe a rubber coushin of some sort can help or something.

I'm guessing you left off some pieces in the picture, because that cannot attach to the TRB without some bulky mount.

I found out what the issue was with the new eibach rear sway I forgot to tighten the hing bolt, rather than that, it's a tight fit, it feels good to get that perfect harmony back

That silver tie bar that is running across the TWB is probably screwing up your suspension in the back.

The TWB does exactly what the name implies. It twists. Because you put that bar in place, it's essentially turned into a live axle instead. The distance between those two mounting points will change depending on how much the beam is twisted, but because the bar is a fixed length, the beam can't twist properly. There's no point to your swaybar with the tie beam there.

That Tie bar looks great the only question I have: Is it necessary to have a tie bar?

Wangspeed, like usual , is 100% correct. BTW thats a very inefficient way to make a sway bar fit to the beam, it will deflect around the bracket and bolts. oh well.

Warren your parts are shipping today ( at last).

I honestly prolly will grab the hardcore bar eventually. This bar was free under warrenty, so no harm no foul right now. And does the tie bar really screw up the rear suspension that bad? Is there any way to get any advantage out of it?

its cool. I will be interested to see how that poor lonely single bolt handles things. glad they looked after you. same for anyone with warranty issues.

BTW, agita_san, your driver's side rear shock bolt isn't tightened all the way down. Dunno if this was just loosened as part of the install or what.

Oops, ignore that. I guess it is. Was hard to see, but I'm looking at the metal sleeve, not the bolt.
