New rotors

Hey guys, im looking at replacing all 4 rotors on my 05 SS/SC. I want slotted/drilled performance rotors, but was looking for something bigger than the factory size. I run 17's for winter and 20s in spring/summer/fall. So im not sure what the factory size is, but I want to run a rotor that will
a) be better for braking with the weight of the 20s
b) look better behind the wheel(bigger)
c) Under $300 shipped for all 4.

i was looking at these. but not sure if they are same as factory size or bigger.

Alright, Ill be honest.

If you want to stop better, ditch the 20's. Extra unsprung weight means you're going to slow down less quickly.

You may be able to find some rotors, but in order to get a "big brake" kit, you'll probably have to upgrade your calipers in order to get the most use out of the larger diameter rotor. I think you'd be better off selling the 20's getting a summer set of 17's with some sticky rubber, and just upgrading your pads.

If you do need new rotors, there has been very little research to show that slotted or drilled rotors actually help production cars that are just on the street, with even a little auto x or track time.

Just my .02 cents

and good luck getting it all for under $300... quality costs money. cause like ^^^^ said, you'll probably need new calipers too.. and also like ^^^^ said, it's not the cross drilling/slotting that helps braking, it's surface area for the pads to grab on to. quality pad, quality rotor material, quality caliper and master cylinder/lines to make it happen.

BTW...why is this server so freaking slow today!!!??
