OEM Brembo pad wear

So I have about 44K miles on my OEM brembo pads with stock rotors- likewise on the rear. Just ordered new OEM pads from CED- just curious as to how many miles other people are getting on these pads? I'm starting to get some noise(slight grind) from the front driver side when i brake- i've never ever heard the front squeak.

P.s. i normally engine brake whenever i can to save the brakes but i think it's time to replace.

I've got close to 42k on my stock front OEM Brembo pads and there is plenty of meat left on them. I'd say they are about 50% - 60% worn. The rotors, on the other hand, are pretty worn. There is a nice lip from the pads actually wearng away the rotors pretty quickly.

The OEM pads are very aggressive pads. They are Ferodo (spelling?) pads, not Brembo pads. You're not going to see long life out of those pads like you would with say some Hawks or some cheap Duralast pads, but in terms of braking performance and fade resistance, they are pretty much unmatched.

I'm at 38k with about 30% left. My rotor is pretty screwed though

38k, rotors are fine, pads look like they'll go a ways. Rears are all good, though the rotors and pads back there were replaced at 13k, or 17k, I forgot which. They'll occasionally squeal in the morning the first time I use them but not always. Once they're warmed they make no noise at all.

Turns out my brembo pads are fine and look to have 40-50% life left in them. My rear pads on the other hand were completely shot. They were totally unevenly worn- the outer pad was at about 60% and the inner pad was down to the metal. Replaced the rears with OEM pads from CED and car is running like a champ again. Lubed the snot out of the pins and going to make sure i do it several more times a year.

Old thread revival for new piece of data-?

Does anyone have the OEM Ferodo pad thickness measurement for when they are new ('09 SS/TC Brembo front brakes)? Total thickness including the backing plate is fine- I have a set on the car (duh) and I can measure the plate thickness and subtract to get the pad thickness when new, so I can figure out how much "life" is left on my pads.

It's interesting to read the above estimates of wear and life left, but no note of the dimensions.
Thanks for help .
