they dont even look like they lowered the rear of my car.

i did buy them used. they were installed 100% properly made sure everything was back into place.

everyone says front looks lower but the rear looks the same.

They are hardly lower than stock FE5 springs. They are a performance spring more than a lowering spring.

They lower the rear to where the stock front ride height is... put a full tank of gas in the car and its lowered more....

but if you bought pedders for MOAR low then you failed at researching springs.

Pedders drop about 1.4 front and 1.6 rear. Drop more or less levels the car out.

the Pedders sag and collapse over time. Keep driving it lots and that will happen. Load the trunk up with weight it will happen more quickly. There is a good rake with Pedders ( the rear higher than the back) no doubt. Check on here there are lots of poststo iindicate what it is, about 3/4 inch higher at the back compared to the rear. These springs were intended for an HHR at the beginning. Check 09SScalicobalts threads for one example. Good luck.

probably not seated on the lower spring isolator, its hard to get it on right, takes a heat gun, and you cant rely on driving the car to get them to seat. Usual Pedders stuff.

I'm having the same issue. My Pedders springs lowered the **** outta the front, to the point where the tires rub on the wheel well covers if I take a sharp turn. The rears however don't look lowered at all! It looks weird with the front and backs at such different heights! I know they are seated properly because we had such a bitch of a time to get them to seat, haha.

No one ever sits in the back of my car though. I've had maybe two people in the back of my car the entire time I've owned it. Could this be the issue? Could I throw a few hundred pounds in the trunk over night for a few days to get them to settle more?

Weird, usually the Pedders don't lower the car at all not even in the front.

Whats up with the misinformation here?

First, they dont drop they are performance.

Then TTR says, 1.3/1.5" drop.

Then Drunkship says drop front alot not rear. ???

Here's what I can contribute. Stock TC on the left, Pedders on the right (MY CAR!) The drop is minimal, but it's easiest to notice it if you look at the mirrors or the front fender "flare". There's actually about a 1" difference in height.....maybe a bit more even.

^^^ excellent comparison. Based on what we now know, Pedders suck. whatever the ride height is now, in a year it will be less. They lose rate terribly. I could not beleive it when I had c_d_88 bring his Pedders to me , he was one of the first to find issues, Wangspeed as well.

If you drive the car aggressively the car will continue to drop until the rear tires will rub the fenders and the front rub the fender liners. Its pretty sad really, with the confidence we all had in the Australian product. I bet they are not made in Australia, I bet they are made in Indonesia.

Hate at a product that is causing a lot of problems? I see nothing wrong with that.

At the time that was true. And now a couple years later all of the Pedders are starting to fail.

Enter YYZ.

Not bashing, I said that I've always stated that Eibach are superior than others. Pedders ride well, but if in time they come lower and lower until your tires start rubbing, well obviously cannot talk about a great item. I had eibachs my all life on all my cars, always happy, actually when I had my two Chargers, one SE and one SXT, I had both springs and shocks from Eibach, never had a better ride. Now I have Pedders coils, and I hope they won't have the same issue

Yyz may be the end all springs, but they dont drop the car. Most people want a drop. I like my SSC Springs and I guess in a year if they are bound up ill just buy new ones. only 160 a set.
