Pedders installed wrong

Hey guys, I have had my pedders springs on my car for over a year now, and I noticed that on the drivers side on the rear it sits lower (small gap between wheel and fender) than on the passenger side, which sits noticably higher. I'll post pics when I can but does this sound like a spring isn't seated properly? It's been like this since day one a few years ago and hasn't noticeably affected the way the car drives or handles.

For reference, I can fit my ring and index finger between the top of the tire and fender lip when level with the top of the tire on the drivers side rear. On the passenger side, I can fit my pinky, ring and middle finger under the passenger side with room for almost another finger. I know it's a horrible description but it'll do till I can get some pics.

My ssc springs are doing this too, i have tried rotating them and have had them off twice now trying to figure it out. Theyre installed right and they were perfect on my lsj, i have no idea what happened but its really annoying walking to my car and seeing the passenger side noticeably higher. I have NO idea how to fix it

Hmm, are you having problems with the rear as well? I wish it was as simple as rotating it and then its done...

pull the back spring out and sit it on the ground it will lean one way. the way it leans faces the front of the car

also check to make sure the springs are seated properly. the pedders are poorly designed on the bottom and a lot of people have issues getting the plastic retainer piece in. it might not have seated all the way when they installed it but from the weight of the car it might of finally compressed down on one side and not the other.....

I've literally tried all of the above and the SSC springs have a slant to then as well just slightly and its perfectly seated I seriously cannot for the life of me figure it out. Are there any more individual components that directly affect ride height like this?

Wonder if qwik has any insight on why this would happen on properly positioned and seated springs. Now I can't stop thinking about it lol

The drivers side has more weight more often! maybe it's just wearing more...Check your acompaning shocks too. and maybe rotate the springs?

The pedders people you most likely just need to rotate the springs to the correct position, brandon all you gotta do is jack up the rear NOT ON THE REAR BEAM and you will be able to move the springs without removing anything

I have Pedders installed correctly and I noticed the passenger side was about 3/8" higher...has not changed since install. I never measured stock, but it appears that this isn't out of the ordinary, since there are 4 here who have the same thing all on the passenger side. I know that difference is an *acceptable* difference within tolerances.
Were assuming that the fenders are symetrical, since that's what we're using here.

When I said rotate, I ment from drivers side to passenger side, not just spin them on thier mounts.....

You also might want to check the crown on the road/driveway your parked on too.

Funny thing I noticed before I installed my pedders was that when I lightly tapped each spring with a piece of metal, they each had different sounding pitches. The fronts sounded exactly the same. Idk, this led me to believe that maybe the spring masses were slightly different...

Idk, its a silly story but I found it kinda curious.

after i installed mine my car was noticably higher on the passenger side (id say about 3/4"). i took out the rears and looked at them, passenger side rear was upside down and not fully seated on the bottom plastic piece. so i flipped it and put it back in (with them facing the correct way also) and now its not noticable. fronts look perfect too. make sure they arent upside down. theres a way to tell.
