Random thinking, LNF suspension.

In theory, unless GM changed some snazz, the entire LNF suspension setup could be swapped over to the LSJ cars. Swaybars, control arms, struts, springs, the whole 9 yards.

What will this do?
A: The LSJ cars would most likely receive a huge upgrade in handling.
B: Possible cure or fix for majority of wheel hop, if not all.

Only downside I see to the whole process would be cost.

Anyone else think this is feasible?

Yea, I could definitely see this as a feasible option. It would probably be smart to wait until they have been out for a year or so though. They have the same block and transmission and body, so I'm almost 100% sure that the parts would fit.

Kind of like my f23 idea. It should work.

Indeed on the waiting. Have to let the techs on here work on some in the dealers so they could provide their input.

I don't think it's a matter of waiting for tech inputs. I think it's a matter of waiting for parts to come down cost-wise. Like getting one out of a junk yard and or something and taking the suspension parts for cheap.

Or you could just by the parts brand new. But "my pockets are empty cuz."

it wouldnt likely be a HUGE difference since the ss/sc is already a great handling car..There would no doubt be a difference though, I'm looking at the tranny mounts and the rear sway bar, myself

The tranny mounts IMO will not swap over because of the different motor. Could be positioned differently in the engine bay.

If the rear suspension is a the same design as the SS/SC you will not be able to get the rear sway bar without getting the whole rear trailing arm, its welded in.

You'd be surprised how cheap brand new under warranty parts actually cost. I don't have my receipts on hand but i don't think I payed much over $200 total for my FE5 parts. I'm getting an order in for the LNF lower control arms as soon as we take delivery of an SS/TC.

From what I have seen it isnt. Its still the good old 2.0 eco just with a direct injection head and a turbo.

Hopefully I am wrong on the tranny mounts.

I'm also more concerned with the axle setup, struts and control arms. Front swaybar as well.

Also, your cost on parts are different then our costs. Not everyone has a hookup.

Vids I've seen of the SS/TC show zero wheel hop when accelerating.

I plan to switch suspension, brakes, and wheels with the SS/TC
