Is this right?

I don't know if this is the right place to post this question, but I bot new cv joints for my 2006 chevy cobalt 4d I4 2.2 L and one seems to be longer, while the other is thicker. Both need to be replaced (passenger and driver side) is this right?

Going from memory, the axles are different length on drivers and pass sides. Not sure on the spline differences for the automatic
