Rotor Problems?

ok so i took my wheel off to do the air box mod and just for the hell of it i ran my finger across the rotor...and what did i find....well instead of it being smooth like all every other ortor ive done this 2 it was rough i could feel grooves in it? now car is under warranty so im not worried but anybody else notice this problem? and this was the front rotor fyi

thats because our pads are basically harder then our rotors, thats an easy explaination

I know my rotor is colored a **** brown, b/c of the damn brake dust...

But it sounds like you need your rotors resurfaced, or buy some "performance" rotors...

GM makes crap rotors. I've heard of people going in for warranty and upgrading to the GMPP vented/slotted rotors, which are a lot better.....look way better too.

rotors are ****... dont waste your money turning them... they will warp again. mine are so fucked right now but i dont have the money to replace them so i am going to bitch to the dealership when i go in and see if they will give me the gmpp rotors because i have been in for this problem like 5 time in 30000 miles, it could have been more but i just didnt have the time to be taking them up there every 2000 miles...
