So I've been thinking about one of the upgrades to my car and that would be to put larger rotors on it. I have an 06 SC and from what I see those are 14" rotors under 18" wheels.

How much bigger rotor could I support and would I have to change the calipers along with them?

I'm not an amazing fan of cross-drilling and slotting is much nicer but I've seen cases of early warping on some and while I don't know much about them it seems to me that just having larger rotors to dissipate more heat would be effective. I'm not racing the thing FYI but I like being able to stop better.
