Slammed cars have this issue?
I drop my car decently low last week. Ever since I had been getting a shaking in the front end at slow speeds, so i took it to pontiac to look at it. The guy said it was the new angle of the axles and i should raise it up some. Anyone low have this?
Steering rack spacers are what you want, but the rotated mounts may be necessary in order for the spacers to clear.

Steering rack spacers will not help. It's the drive shaft angle. I had it when i was in CM springs.
The rotated trans mounts will help. Unless your a auto like me. Then your sol.

You wont of had it on CM/SSC springs, that was probably alignment. i know, i had them
you will only get this when your are slammed on coils, no springs cause this.
powell mounts will help. rack spacers will not.
best thing to do is raise the engine.

It wasn't the alignment. I had the alignment done and it made no difference. Went back to stock springs and the alignment was way off till i got it done and the shake was gone.
I've been on stock springs for 4K now and no shake.
I felt it when pulling out from a stop.
Also on the auto's the drive shaft is at a different angle. Then the 5 speed.
^ Yes.
OP: It's axle bind. Rotated mounts will help with the axle bind (shutter/vibration) you are feeling.
You'll have vibes from the mounts themselves, but it eliminated probably 90% of the axle bind.. Just depends which one you feel like dealing with.. Though, the vibes are fine to me, axle bind will destroy axles, and fast. Search around, there are people who have taken stock axles off after being dropped without mounts and the axle is pretty fucked up.. Especially on H&R's or anything else that drops you a good amount.

holy crap so much faux info on here. The shaking IS axle bind, you being an auto CANNOT use the mounts. Last I checked Powell does not have auto mounts made yet. Live with it or raise your engine/car.
Rack spacers WILL NOT help the shaking, they only help to avoid bump steer and steering wheel stiffness due to the "binding" angles of the tie rods. Depending on car, some need them some don't, I'm dumped and have no steering issues.
