SNEAK PEAK: Time Attack rear antiroll bar!
#232
"Manufactured from cold-formed, high-strength aircraft-grade steel for precision performance, and finished with a long-lasting red powder coat finish, the Anti-Roll-Kit comes complete with all necessary mounting hardware and instructions for easy installation."
It's cold-formed like yours. Not trying to bash, just relaying the info. If the OTTP bar was in the competitor price range, you'd have me sold!

the difference is still that these bars are race tested. I don't understand how no one gets that? You tell people to get the adjustable powergrid endlinks because they are race proven adjustable etc and they ask do you think the Bwoody one is similar?
The OTTP bar has been used on race cars tested tried proven they work. The Eibach's and whatever other fancy name you want have not been tested the same as these bars.

Just a note from the Eibach site:

It's not a game Drew. I just cleared up a discrepancy.
Stiner, I by no means said the OTTP wasn't any good. Neither did I say the Eibach was better. I stated the fact that the forming process was similar. And not hot-formed as others implied.
Pull your pants back up!
And Race proven doesn't mean it's worth more (it's a selling feature, but not a reason to double the profit). The price should sincerely reflect the cost of material and forming! Every one else is within a 10$ difference. I'm interested in the OTTP, but with shipping to Canada, I just can't justify it.
As for the Hardcore bar... I still need to drive car in snow, and the Hardcore would be a recipe for disaster. It's not about ego's, "hey my bar is stronger than yours", it's about functionality VS cost.
Bigger is not always better! Too big will create too much oversteer! Especially on an otherwise stock car. Yes it works on the Time Attack cars, but did you not read the list of mods involved??? Full suspension, knucles, hubs, axles, mounts, traction bars and alot more! Throwing an otherwise huge rear bar without considering anything else, will tend to kick your rear end out. A little understeer is safer.
Some good info:

I'm not gonna waste my breath! Just saying you have no actual physical proof the OTTP will outperform anything else straight mod for mod. I mean on the exact same identical car. All we go by is the fact it's used on Time Attack cars. Again, not bashing the product, I even adimitted I like it apart from the cost. We just simply don't know how well the others would perform, cause they haven't been put through same test. Doesn't mean they aren't as good.
It's not a "who's got a bigger bar" game. I auto-x and have beaten alot of other cars too. But that's not the point. I simply said the Eibach was cold-formed like the OTTP, PLAIN AND SIMPLE TO THE POINT. END OF STORY.
Leave your ego at the door

Oh boy! Here we go! We know the OTTP works! YES WE DO! Am I arguing that, no! This has been blown out of proportion!
Take the rest as you wish.
07MetallicSC, warm up the butter!
I support OTTP, their rotated mounts are on my which list. I did not call them out, I simply stated, and please correct me if I am wrong, there is no official comparison of sway-bar results. That's it man...

But as soon as I said Eibach, you got all excited. I just don't get why people insult other brands when there is no proof that they aren't as good. That's is all!
MY recollection is TTR was first out before even Eibach and so they got good reviews. Then OTTP has recently followed suite, and OTTP has been great to the balt community and is therefore respected. But it by no means represent that anything else is bad.
I honestly wish there was a legit comparison. Would really be fun to see!
