SS/SC Axels, Braskes and Suspension
SS/SC Axels, Braskes and Suspension
I just bought an 07 LS Coupe and I was wondering, Can the SS/SC axels, brakes and E3 suspension set ups off the SS/SC be used on an LS coupe? I dont have ABS, so am I going to have to do anything with that trying to use the brakes? If I cant do the brakes because of my lack of ABS is there another way for me to convert my rear brakes to disc without a big brakes kit? If I can get this stuff on there, what would be the best choice to get my hands on these parts? Anyone know of any direct parts dealers for GM? Thanks I really appreciate the help.
CrateEngineDepot.com is your Friend... you can order all of the SS/SC suspension on there... as for SS/SC axles... waste of money. Brakes... I dunno on that... but if you e-mail Tom at CrateEngineDepot... I'm sure he could tell you.

I did the research for you...
Here is the link to their Suspension page: http://www.crateenginedepot.com/stor...sion-C188.aspx
It has a facts section and lists all the parts you would need to convert to the FE5 suspension.
-----------------------------
As far as the brakes go... you wouldn't be able to use the SS/SC brakes without lots of money... because LS/LT's have 4 lug hubs, where we SS/SC's are 5 lug. Converting the rear to disc's would probably require an expensive aftermarket kit.

Axles... you don't need them... but when you do... go aftermarket.

Yes it is... anything and everything for your car from GM is available on that site. If you watch their section on this board... they run special pricing from time to time.
