Psh, its BEEN in pieces haha. Waiting on springs.

Almost considering dropping my order and picking up a set of Stance coilovers. I would loose too much money on that though.

Lol. Mine are supposed to be on my doorstep sometime today and I ordered them last week. Somethings up with this. I think it's time for you to make some phone calls and find out where yours are.

True, sea salt in the air is brutal. I still wipe down all exposed metal once a week. Still see new rust in some places.

5 miles makes a huge difference. If you stand on my roof, the ocean is less than half a mile away.

not saying you don't haha, just saying thats where my car is 90% of the time. And the Pacific has a much higher salinity. You guys worry about salt on the roads in winter, we worry about the ocean.

we dont use salt on the roads anymore its a calcium liquid. makes weird lines down the road till rain hits it. better for cars on the road, and cheaper for the state cost wise. just needs to be put down within 2-5 hours before the storm, OR as soon as possible when the storm starts.

How much for air ride you suppose? I would spend up to $1500 on a kit, and install myself. I have experience installing air ride suspension on more than a fair share of V-Dubs. MKIV Golfs, MKIV jettas, MKV Golfs, B5 A4's. So I don't think I will be discouraged by the install, but just wanted to see who had all the know how on these particular cars.
