Steering wheel shaking
Steering wheel shaking
I have an 09 cobalt ss
I recently had my left driver side wheel bearing and drive shaft replaced along with my tires being rotated. I now have moderate shaking in my steering wheel between 55 and 65 mph. Took it back to the shop where I had the work done and they said it could be that the front tires need rebalancing. Had that down and now the vibration has been improved but its still there. Now they are claiming the rears need to be balanced
So my question is can out of balance rear tires cause shaking in the steering wheel?
Also my abs/traction/ESC light is on. I originally thought this had to due with my front left wheel bearing needing to be replaced, but after the work was done the light is still on and the code says its on the right side which was replaced under warranty from the dealer about 7 months ago. So my second question is do you think the dealer will replace the sensor for free due to it possibly being related to the warranty work they did.
Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for the help
