Go with whatever one looks better - there will be no difference in handling.

The Delta platform is very rigid and does not require aftermarket bracing like a rustang or civic.

MZR said they were planning to make one for the 08-09 SS/TC. I'm not sure how they'll do it, but I am anticipating something cool.

We had this discussion on the S197 Mustangs (05-up) and a lot of people made the same claims that the chassis is rigid enough, etc... but from my own experience, it appeared the strut tower brace really doesn't do much for the strut tower (unibody chassis). However, it does have an impact on the struts themselves. I noted that the front-end of the Mustang felt a lot more rigid with the STB, and I didn't hear the strut bearings moaning or groaning while turning the wheel slightly when the car is stopped.

I agree with Maven, the lighter one is the better design. There's no need for extra dead weight.

I put one on my car because I got it almost free and it looks pretty in the engine bay....zero difference to handling.

truth. Mine is most useful as a hand hold when trying to each stuff on the exhaust side of the engine
