so, apparently after my struts going from my lowering springs, they also did a number on my strut mount and bearings....... I've looked but can't find any for the FE3/FE5 suspensions...... I really, really, REALLY don't feel like getting fucked by the dealer and their price of $340~ just for parts........ are there any aftermarket strut mounts for the SS model cobalts?

 

All balts use the same strut mounts

The mount is 88964326, $98 each list, $100 shipped for a pair is a killer deal.

The bearing is 22712116(FE1,3) or 22687774(FE5) list is $65/42each

The seat/plate is 22716379 $10 each list.

 

I was also wondering about this, good to know the part number.

 

i paid 75 at the dealer for a strut mount so 100 shipped for 2 is an awsome price

 

thanks Maven for that info.... so, back to the original question, well, altered question now..... the 06 SS Sedan takes FE3 or FE5 mounts.... becasue looking them up anywhere, the LS/LT/LTZ/every other model but SS... the strut munts are available through like monroe and gabriel.... but, the SS models are all listed as N/A

 

And back to my original answer.....all the mounts are the same.

I've broken a few of these mounts and always ordered from gm parts direct.

And if you ordered them from GMPD you paid more than $100 shipped for a pair.

 

I don't remember, I think it was like 55 shipped for one. Was over a year ago I think.

definitely wasn't 70 when I got it. It's too long ago to look up the order.

Here ya go. THe mount was 39 and 10 for shipping. 50.50 shipped. They must hve raised the prices, because now I see they're much more than that.
