strut tower brace

I was wondering if the strut tower brace for sale for the 2.2 on rsm racing would fit the ss?

what car is it listed for?
a better upgrade would be to buy anti-sway bars

I had the GM Strut tower brace on my 2002 Cavalier. I noticed that there wasn't as much flex in the front end. Some people say they don't notice the difference but it helps lessen the amount of flex in the body (front) and allows the wheels to be planted down to the ground a little more during cornering. If anyone wants to add or correct me if i'm wrong go ahead.. at least that's the impression i got

Are any of the supporting vendors going to be making strut bar's? i really want to dress up the engine a little bit.

Even if the one from www.rsmracing.com will fit, $300 is way overpriced, i have seen them for around 175 for other cars before.

$300!!! That's way expensive. You can buy the Eibach Anti-Roll kit for that much. When I bought the GM one for the cavalier it was only $60. And i've seen others between 100-150. Anything more than that is way overpriced

I think if enough people would contact www.bmrfabrication.com they just might make these.

I would prefer a black one from GM like they did for the Cavaliers. That RSM one doesnt even look good at all.

I really want a strut bar, will this one fit a 05 cobalt ss? i doubt anyone would know, but even though its for the 2.2/ION will it fit you think?

If not: Are any of the supporting vendors planning on doing one for our car?

It looks like it would fit. It looks like engine bay of an SS/SC but with a 2.2l ecotec. $149 is wayyyy better of a price. Too bad GM didn't make the Strut Bars come stock with a SS/SC, i dunno.

If you can't return it i'm sure you could re-sell it to a saturn owner on the redline forums or something

Well i sent some vendors on here an email, and got this from modern performance!!

"Yes we are in the works and should have good news to come with time but no ETA at the moment "

So i will just wait for them, becuase i would like a direct fit, and not take my chances with buying the saturn one, although it may fit

Well I would think if it fits the 2.2 that it would fit the LSJ too.
