Suspension Upgrade

I need to replace my front and rear shocks/struts and have been really leaning toward FE5's off a TC, but then I saw the threads about Koni's. Cost wise, would the FE5's be a better idea? Im planning on replacing alot of the suspension components, so I'm gonna have a pretty decent amount of cash tied up in the suspension. I know both would be a huge upgrade from FE1 suspension, but is it really that much more worth it to go with Koni's over FE5?

If you track, yes. They are a superior upgrade but fe5 is suitable for most applications.

FE5's are fine for most people, you can brand new front FE5 struts preloaded with springs, pretty cheap.

Yeah, I was looking at CED for the FE5. They're prices are by far the best I've found. I doubt I'll ever track the car other then at any track days I may take a fancy to attending, I just want a car that will take corners really well. Texas has some pretty nice back roads with some good curves, so I want a car thats better through them.

I figured FE5 would be better all around, but I just wanted to make sure I wasnt over looking anything.

I have fe5 with Powell yyz, moog endlinks paired with zzp strut bar, ottp rack spacers and rear hardcore bar. Room for improvement on other components but you won't regret any upgrade. My mountain commute is good fun now.
