Sway Bar Is In!!!!!
Sway Bar Is In!!!!!
Got my progress rear sway bar in... trying to decide if i should test it out now or wait til my springs and strut tower bar get in... drop it all on at once so i can feel a complete difference.. im kinda impatient though i may put it on lol.
I think i man do that cuz im very anxious to see the difference and the spot i ordered my springs thru fugged up my order and i probaby wont get them for another week.
XM15 did u put your strut bar on first and if so did u feel a good difference.. Im up in the air on MRZ vs. DC Sports(probably gonna post a thread for that too)

I installed the strut bar first, and I did feel a good difference. The sway bar did have a bigger effect though.
IMO, go with the strut bar that is cheapest; they do the same thing. Unless of course you want a more "dressed up" look to the engine. In that case go with the MRZ.

Aight.. im gonna contemplate this for a week while i wait on these springs.. i think im gonna throw this sway bar on though and go test it out .. I most likely will go MRZ too .. but 50bucks may make the difference
I bought the MRZ brushed aluminum bar a month or so ago. It looks stronger than the dc bar, but it prob. doesn't make a diff.
With the FSTB, you'll right away have a stiffer feel in the steering wheel, ness understeer for sure.
I'm waiting on my progress rear-sway bar to arrive
+ modernperformance coilovers; let me know how it goes!

I have Sportlines and the DC Sports front strut bar, and the Progress rear sway bar is next up in terms of suspension mods. My girlfriend is getting it, along with the Prothane tranny mount inserts, for me for Christmas.

But if you want the strongest strut bar, then get the JBP.
I sold mine to XM i believe and im missing it
I think if my turbo plans fall through because of CPP, i will beef up my suspension and repaint my bumpers and wait till spring to get my turbo.
Might look stronger, but the DC Sports is carbon steel, which is very strong. I got the DC Sports to initially go with my AEM CAI, as AEM owns DC Sports, so I was trying to do some brand matching under the hood.

I didnt get to install the rear sway this weekend since im packing to move.. Strut bar should be in this weekend.. dont know whats up with the springs.. depending on the lead time on them i will wait and take a day and drop it all on at once...
I just got my MRZ strut bar. Hopefully i get the chance to put it on tomorrow and hopefully it completes my suspension mods. That'll put me at the MRZ strut bar, progress lowering springs and sway bar. Cant wait to see if there is a difference or not.
My last decision to make is Sportlines Vs. Progress springs. The Progress price is appealing but i think i may want to go with the lower drop with the sportlines... so many decisions lol
The Sportlines dont drop it much more than the Progress springs, but they do even it out more.
