you can get rid of the sway bars IF, you adjust the spring rates accordingly.

I disconnected mine like 8 months ago.

Don't do it. It sucks for daily driving and it REALLY hurts for auto-x. A national champ auto-xer told me to try it, then instructed a stock SS/SC with the stock bar attatched. Not only should the bar stay on, but the SS/SC seems to be one of the few cars that would benefit from a slightly larger front sway bar.

I was waiting for alley to chime in... was only a matter of time before someone with real knowledge did...

I am still in the process of figuring out how to get my front one replaced with the aftermarket one I have

it's going to be difficult. You've gotta drop the subframe from what I can see. I was looking into taking mine off until Sam said it needs to stay.

LOL Do what I do, put it on jackstands, stare at it for a while to try and find out what's in your way, beat on something with a wrench and/or hammer, then go find someone with a lift, some tools, and some knowledge and con them into helping you.

You could though, its really not that hard. Just need to get the front of the vehical high enough off the ground to give yourself room, say 3 feet.
