Swaybar endlinks

Well mine are frozen and seized. Making a very nice clunking now.

Is there any advantage to ordering FE5 ones? My car is an FE3 car.

So should I order the FE3 links or the FE5 links?

I think you are going to have to get the fe3 links. The fe5's are about 2inches longer....

Well I read that you can run FE3 links with the FE5 bar but that the FE5 links would be better with the FE5 bar. So I was curious if the FE5 links would be better with the FE3 bar.

the fe3 links are longer than the fe5 links..... if u are lowered or plan on lowering you should definetely go with the fe5

Well I was putting the Eibach pro kit on its barely lowering the car. Though Ive never seen an FE3 car lowered on the Pro kit springs so who knows how much it will actually lower an FE3 car. But I need to order new endlinks anyway since mine are done for.

ok well going to get these tomorrow from the stealership so we can finish my car and I can get rid of that annoying clunk.

I havent looked at how this suspension is setup but im assuming the front swaybar is mounted like most others with 2 center bushings and clamps. If thats the case then the swaybar would be able to swivel up for the shorter FE5 links. Is that correct? Id prefer to go with the FE5 links since the difference in price is next to nothing and the FE5s are supposed to be better.

Feedback?

^qft.

FE5 links are better because they resist flex because they are shorter. Their length is the only difference.

Got the new ones on! Not sure if its a placebo effect or not but steering response seems a bit better and intial turn in does seem more aggressive.

I bought them from Carquest auto parts. They dont really have much of an online shopping site. But you can go to carquest.com and find the closest carquest. They will come in a carquest box but it will say moog on it. And the links will have moog written on rubber caps as well. They do have the grease fittings and were 30 dollars each. The FE5 links are a good inch plus shorter but the swaybar swivels up with zero issue. I drove it hard lastnight and the car is fine. The only thing I would do is put some anti seize on the threads before you put them on. My stockers were a pain to get off without an impact! But I was able to bend the stock FE3 ones with my bare hands. So these are a nice cheap upgrade.

Yep 60 plus tax.

You will pay more for any other link out there.

Autozone FE3 - 35 each
GM FE3 - 36 each
GM FE5 - 38 each
Gmpartsdirect FE5 - 24 each plus 16 dollars shipping
Bwoody - 120? Set
Powergrid - 160 Set

These are a cheap stronger alternative to bwoody or powergrids though not adjustable.
