Chevrolet Cobalt SS 2005-2007 2.0L Super Charged Coupe

How are the ride on these? I want a drop, but I do not want it too handle worse than stock (not that stock is terrible). Car is just a DD and currently I do not want another car on coil overs. Wheels are stock LSJ wheels and the struts and shocks would remain stock as well. Good buy? Something different? Suggestions and advice welcome.

I want a drop, but not a crazy drop, that is why I was looking at Tein, 1.7". I also do not want something that makes the car handle worse than stock either. I had a set of Intrax springs on my old sc2 and it made that car handle worse and the ride was not so great.
Again.
Drop, nice ride, does not handle worse than stock.
Tein good, or something different?

Well all springs are going to make the ride a little worse than stock besides peddars and yyz. But those don't really drop much. Idk anything about tein. I don't think they are that popular. But if you want a good drop and good ride then cm/ssc springs. 180 shipped brand new.
Canuck motorsports or zzp's ssc springs would be the best for the money, i have ksports and they give a good drop and the ride isn't too bad at all!
This picture was after i installed them, a little over a month since i've had them now and they settled a bit lower

Why the hell do people just throw our stuff like this all the time.
Oh id like a good drop not too low....
So ill recommend springs that are expensive and built for handling not lowering..?

I think im going to try CM's although ive heard they ride great, and also heard they ride like ****, ive learned how to drive lowered, my megan springs ride great until i hit a bump/storm drain/pothole, then I feel like my break is been mashed by a truck. So i dont hit these types of things anymore and its worked out, but they have over 50k so im sure new CM's will be an upgrade.
megans are a bit over 2" drop i believe but still not enough for a base model on 16's
I put a set of sport lines in, drop is nice, but the ride is a little beat. Stiff on the initial bump but they are a little bouncy oh and if you start throwing the car around hard it's unsettled.
I Had H&R sports on my old sc2, WAY stiffer ride then these sportlines.

I had Intrax, Eibach, and then Agility coil overs on my sc2. I love coil overs but I don't want a set for this car. I just want a moderate drop to kill wheel gap and look nicer. I also want a nice ride. I am pretty set on SSC springs.
I just installed the teins. Looks nice but the ride is rather firm, the rear springs are nearly all the way compressed(about an inch between bump stops) they do improve handling a little bit but they're suggested as a visual upgrade by the tein factory. I'll try to get picts up tomorrow.
