I would chose H&R because its easier to find pictures of the drop and know how low its going to be. I did see one pic of a cobalt on Tein and it was pretty low, about H&R height maybe higher. If you want to try them and give feedback on them go ahead.

1st are you an lsj an lnf base model or whats your setup so far? 2nd.....well what are you looking for? drop, handling, looks, what?

remember theres a fine line of compromise between them all.....tien makes great stuff but their springs on the cobalt are no better then sportlines really and i think they are junk. h&r's provide the nicest drop by far until you go on coilovers but the ride is compromised on the lnf struts.

In what way is it compromised? Quality? Because I didnt buy this car for ride quality. I got rid of a GTO haha.

I am wanting to get the H&Rs but will it hurt performance? Quality I do not care about.

over time, h&r's are gonna kill your struts and shocks but they do look nice.

gto was never a good car to begin with. only thing worth while is the power plant. so if you didnt buy it for quality then stick yourself in a geo metro.

if your on lnf struts.....yeah h&rs will hurt your handling and will eventually hurt your struts. poor spring rates for the fe5. i had them on my car before switching to stances. your better off staying stock. most companies have just swapped over their spring line years to the lnf car aswell instead of spending money and testing new springs out for the car. theres only 2 springs on the market that provide improved handling for lnf struts. the eibach pro kit and pedders with pedders being on top. next would be ssc which is pretty close to stock rates for the stock springs on the fe5 setup.

so if you dont want to listen then dont. i honestly dont care. thats exactly why this site has gone down hill. half the people on here dont listen to people who know whats right and whats wrong.
