Tighten Ebrake Cable?

I am looking to for a way to tighten the ebrake on my car? I have the pull the handle pretty far up and wanted to know if there was a simple adjustment so it does not have to travel far?

Aesthecially a less travel ebrake handle is much more pleasing than one way way high up.

Thanks!!

So before i literally pull this off. What did you mean by pull? It seems a few people broke theres. What is the 'correct' and 'least likely to f**k something up" way to get this handle off? Just wanna measure this twice before I cut. Thanks!

Use a flat head screw driver and push it at the little clip. Just be gentle with it and you'll be fine.
