torsion bars

I raised the torsion bars on my Chevy had new tires and rims installed and a front end alignment done. Now my control arm is hitting the bump stop I lowers it very little to prevent it but was wondering if I could get rid of the bump stop all together we do quite a bit of four wheeling and fond want or have the money for a lift kit.
