Got mine today.
The packaging was beat to hell, and I was missing two washers.
This bar has some ugly welds on it, but at least it seems to be pretty good quality.
I wont get a chance to throw this on until tomorrow, but will be doing so after I get some new washers.
Here is a question though to anyone who has installed this.
I fear I might be too big to slide under the car without jacking it up. I havent tried, but I am 6'1 and 255lbs.
So, in the event I cant get under there, I will need to jack the car up. That would I am sure give me adequit room, but here is the problem. I dont have Jack Stands. I had a pair long ago but they have since gone to god knows where.
Is this safe to do with the jack holding the car? My guess is no....
I will try to get myself under the back end.
I do have ramps I could use, but I have never tried to back a car up onto ramps.
When I put my wifes Miata up to change the oil, I have a hell of a time because of the RWD, (I think this is the reason) her car ends up pushing the ramps. I have to lift the front end and hope to god she dosent plow me over in the process. And that works.
*yes I have made sure that it is not her bumper pushing the ramps*
I worry we might run into the same problem backing up a FWD drive car. It would be fine, but she can barely drive stick as it is, let alone well enough to put a car on ramps. So I would have to do it and I dont think she is lifting my back end much.
Any thoughts?

^^^Yeah, I COULD have done that, but instead I crawled under the car and did it the hard way. I seem to excel at the hard way.
It must have looked pretty funny to people passing by to see me under there. I am thinking along the lines of a house sitting on top of the wicked witch of the east... (Wizard of Oz plug for anyone that cares)
Anyway, the install IS an easy one without jacking up the car IF you are small and can fit comfortably under there. Big guys, you will have little to no room to move around making lining up the nut plate quite aggrevating.
This should probably take no more than 30 minutes done right. It took me about 45 minutes, 40 of which were used fighting with the f*cking bolts trying to get them lined up.
Despite that, I would rate the hardness of this install about a 2 out of 10 with 10 being rebuilding your engine and 1 being changing your wiper blades.
It pays to do things right. And in this case, it paid to do it the hard way because:
A: I didnt have to buy new jack stands quite yet. (I have a B-day coming up and am trying not to buy a whole lot of stuff because the wife typically treats me well)
and
B: Learned that if I need to, I CAN fit under my car and still avoid the hot exhaust!
Differance in the ride is night and day, and well worth the money!
