wheel bearing..help

ok so i took my car to the shop because my car vibrates bad.. my right front wheel bearing is bad. i need one or is there anyway that a base model cobalt wheel bearing will fit??. also they told me the part comes as a wheel bearing and hub assembly.. cant i just grease it up??

NO. no grease /no el cheapo base cobalt wheel bearing...you have abs...and its an 06, probably a different tooth count for abs to the 05...so buy it from a GM dealer or maybe turbo tech can help you. dont fool with this item you can get hurt if the bearing lets go....good luck

The 05-06 are the same. The SS, both 2.0L and 2.4L use the same hub. Left and Right sides are the same. The LS/LT's are 4 lug. Yes it's a complete hub and comes with sealed bearings, no greasing needed. You can get it from your locate parts house. It should be somewhere around $180. It's a fairly straight forward job taking about 30 mins with handtools.
