Well Powell is now selling the time attack bushings you could either get a set of those or buy SScalicobalts old ones when hes got them out unless they get too fucked up upon removal

Wasn't aware he made that public, other than his front arm leading/trailing bushings

Yeah, hes selling a rear beam joint now. Bushings are probably dealer only, and virtually impossible without tool.

Ouch... thats pricey... but that's the price you pay for quality

I have the means to make my own. Recently pressed in my own spherical bushings for the front control arms.

Just need to get a set of rear beam bushings to measure. Hopefully it's as easy to make as the fronts were.

that would involve getting on the ground and getting dirty...

I'm a princess when it comes to working on cars (This is why I tune, and let others wrench)

Thanks Maven... I was making this overly complicated haha

I think mine are going bad. my fe1 car has been lowered on coilovers for quite some time and the rear passenger side makes a crazy clunk over small bumps. I think its this bushing. i have swapped the shocks and it still does it, so it isnt a blown shock. i re-torques everything and the only moving part left is this bushing.

any ideas? and from what you guys are saying, its a PITA to change?

looks like more a pain in the ass to change compared to the fronts.

definitely a job better to be accomplished with a lift

cool part is once you toss in a set of sealed sphericals... you dont have to worry about replacing them

here's what you need to make the process go smoothly per J. Powell

Kent-Moore , J-44570-A Bushing Replacer

Powell had to make some revisions to his twb bushing since Halfcent's had an issue with flushness. The new revised one is now for sale, Im buying them on Friday so my FE5s should be up for grabs soon

people who buy our inserts get a " free for the use + shipping return" tool for install and just have to ship it back when done. Wangspeed just sent the tool back, ready for thenext guy.

FE5 do wear out, FE1 are "hydraulic" bushings, liquid filled, fail easily as well. v.2 is all we sell, it mimics the race bushings only easier to use/install and will resist corrosion.
