I plan on going with Sportlines, as soon as Koni releases some Yellows for the Cobalt.

I have progress, and love them. They lowered my car quite a bit, and the ride isn't too firm.

K. Doing some research..this is what I have found:

Tenzo R
STANDARD SUSPENSION: 2.0" Front Drop and 2.5." Rear Drop.
SUPERCHARGED SS COUPE: 1.0" Front Drop and 1.3." Rear Drop.
Eibach Race Springs
Cobalt vehicle 1.6" in front and 1.8" in rear and Lowers SS Supercharged Coupe vehicle 1.0" in front and 1.3" in rear
H&R
1.6" Front & 1.75" Rear Drop. (only has one drop listed..nothing about diff model cobalts)
Progressive
Drop for standard Cobalt is 2.0" Front and 1.8" rear. Cobalt SS 2.0SC may not drop as low. For Chevrolet HHR, drop is 1.4" Front and 1.6" Rear.
(all from gravana webiste)

So how come the SS doesn't drop as much as the other models of the cobalt? I would assume that the 2.0 engine was just as heavy as the 2.2l

Trying to compare the H&R to the progressive in the pics of this thread but hard to tell whos is lower. How many fingers can you fit in the fender above the tire?

it's because the SS/SC is already slightly lowered 1/2" from the factory when compared to the base models.

fyi - the SSC springs are local too...

Check out this thread. One of the mods received the ssc springs and took some descent pics. I know it lowered mine pretty good also.

I have sportlines. According to the website sportlines drop 1.0 front 1.3 rear and the pros only drop the rear .5 to level the car out.
