I was told it was uneven wear on the tires. Mine does this too

When ur at a dead stop and u wiggle the steering wheel is their any play? If so it could be tie rod ends, but most likely its the intermediate shaft. Its what connects the steering column to the rack n pinion and is real common on cobalt to clunk and get play in them.

OR

Warped DISC BRAKES caused by slamming on the brakes coming to a full stop and the heat and the pressure of the brake pushes into the rotor.
Therefore causing wobble when braking.

That's what happens to me.

Before coming to a hard stop, Just before you stop.. let off of the brakes for a few seconds before holding them down. Lets them cool down.

Did you bedd your brakes in?

I put something together on it.. I'll links you

i had this problem. and when i changed out from air box mod to injen and had the tire off i gave the rotor a good solid push in thinking it was seated correctly i did both sides. and it worked like a charm.
about two weeks ago i got a new set of wheel and they where put on at the tire shop and now its doing it again.

i really don't know if me pushing the rotors they way i did was actually the fix but it seemed to work

Toe rods are good.. I'm leaning towards tired maybe but it don't wobble when driving regular. Brakes are brand new so they're not warped lol.

well then its the brake job prob. maybe the tech got some brake grease on the disc and that will cause a slick spot on the disc which causes the brake to not be as effective and uneven and is perpetuated by higher speed braking. and thats why you feel it only when braking. or perhaps the rotors you put on may not be entirely flush or whatnot. The problem arising right after your brakes get done is a strong indicator that the work may have been done incorrectly.

An intermediate shaft is the shaft that connects the axle to trans on passenger side. What you talking about is the steering knuckle I'm assuming?

Well it did it before I changed my brakes. I figured it was the brakes and I needed new ones anyway so I changed them.. I did it myself.. I'm sure I did it correctly

Yes and no. There's actually two intermediate shafts. Theirs the one between the axles that u mentioned and the one for the steering I mentioned. Look by ur pedals and ull see the shaft with a u joint coming from the bottom of the steering column and that's what connects to the rack.

Hmm.. There's a wobble i can feel in my passenger side when I pull thru the gears. Seems like more at high speeds.. Thinking maybe intermediate shaft bearing..? Idk

Rebalance the tires and hose the front brakes off with brake cleaner.

I just rotate my wheels today. Notice the passenger front wheel had a very small square tape weight missing. Not sure if it still does it but I did a pull on a back road didn't feel anything. Have to see on a smooth highway... Hope this fixed it! Ll

I'm more focused on the wobble from 100-120 ish. Gets worse as I go faster.. I rotated my tires.. And it still does it. Can I rule out tires/wheels and look for something else? Wangspeed help lol.

If you feel it at all while you're going straight and not braking, then it is not the rotors. If it gets louder or feels worse when turning, it's likely a wheel bearing. I've had to change one wheel bearing. Test by jacking the car up, and grabbing a top and bottom spoke, and trying to shake it. One hand in, while the other goes out. There shouldn't be much play. Your fronts will be fine, they are super beefy. The rears can go on a TC by now.

It's also possible that you've just lowered the car too much and are causing the CV to bind up on occasion.
