Got time to play with my xxx bar and koni/YYZ combo. Pure enjoyment, Very tight setup without being as loose as I thought it would be!

Thanks Powell!

Just installed my Powell YYZ V.5 springs and SS/TC FE5 struts/shocks today. I guess 106,000 miles on the factory original struts/shocks and springs was just a few miles too many. LOL! Got the pre-built kit from Crate Engine Depot, and I'm extremely pleased with the results. Big thumbs up to Crate Engine Depot and Powell. Thinking about a Powell sway-bar in the not so distant future...

I might get them if they go on sale in the future. Right now I have nothing but good things to say about my B&G lowering springs.

Nope I dont see why anyone would be racing a 2.2 cobalt. But the car handles decently well (much better than stock)

Yes convert to the dark side, YYZ springs are the best. You can autocross like I do and they make the car so much fun just for normal driving too.

1panel2nv is selling used v.1. we dont do sales. Why would we discount our parts, which already have the slimmest possible margins, and by discounting, rubbish all the honest folks who paid a fair price for our parts in the first place.

aintgonnahappen.com.

there is no doubt, and I am one of them, folks surf looking for deals and low prices. But at the end of the day, quality and a warranty for as long as you own the car, trumps cheap prices for parts made overseas of indifferent quality. Powell YYZ springs. You know it, made in 'merica.

if you haven't noticed.. powell doesnt put stuff on sale. Its worth every penny of retail price if you haven't noticed from the 1000's of reviews on his products whether it be sway bars, CAB's, springs, oil separator, etc

I guess if you really want to get a deal, show up at CED and buy direct from him (or possibly Tom) there and save shipping cost. Plus you get to meet Powell too so its like a win-win :

They may be pricey compared to other springs, but you definitely get what you pay for. I've only had them one day, and I'm amazed at how the feel of my car has changed. Power delivery to the front wheels is smooth and linear, doesn't squat back onto the rear when you get moving from a stop, doesn't roll as much in turns, gives you the confidence to get on the throttle quickly into and out of a turn, and the ride is just a bit stiffer than stock. Spend the money, man. You won't regret it.

So you found a post that mentions the word "sale" from 2 years ago. Big deal. Don't make an ass of yourself. Powell's products and service speak for themselves and nobody wants to hear your opinion. So go troll somewhere else. And also: grammar and punctuation matter! Don't call anyone stupid if you don't even know the difference between your and you're.

Keep going slow and low on your B&G's then.. no use in whining about not having sales on new products

fyi, that sale you see in that link was when YYZ's were first released and powell was still giving cheaper pricing to the few who wanted to try them out. I was one of the first to get V1's back in the day and got them for a marginally better price. Once he knows he has a good product with good reviews at good price, why would he put them on sale is my logic? He did the same with his oil separator's.. in other words, you want cheap powell products? buy them when they are being first released or buy them used..
