ZZP Drilled and slotted rotors, and evolution pads.

I'll do a write up on these later, as I already have the backs installed and broken in. The rears got me with the whole screw type caliper, but after i found the tool it was a cake walk.

Now on to business. These rotors are HEAVY, like 40lbs shipped from ZZP. But they have a ton of meat on them and I love the Zinc plating, my rears still look brand new with 1k on them almost. Plus 4 hard stops from 110 plus on Woodward.

Yes they do, but they are 165 for the fronts instead of 125, like I paid.

Yeah, for just the front rotors it's 185. But for as meaty as these rotors are for my S/C I'm very pleased. Damn rain stopping me from putting them on today....

Tomorrow if we don't get any rain I'm doing the fronts and cleaning my TB since I have that hateful idle issue now.

finally put them on, took me 30 mins for both sides, I went out and started to seat them and get some heat in the rotors. But it's dark out and I have exams this week to study for.

whos do u think will last longer? more efficient? Quality wise? ZZP vs CrateEngineDepot. I'm curious cause if one rotor last 2x as long then the extra $ is worth it. I need new fronts but will do the back soon after

From what ZZP told me while I was there they have had these on one of their cars for 20k+ and they are fine. Plus they wont rust in the winter! I love mine so far, but I only have about 1500 miles on the rears and maybe 200 on the fronts. But hold on to your face if you really smack the brakes.

Only thing I would have done is gone with HAWK pads or something name brand high performance pads. But these power stops work fine, with minimal dust.

how much better are hawk pads due to evo pads. Also who sells hawks at the best price seen TTR 80 bucks for 4 pads is that normal?

I dont think hawks are a whole lot better, but I paid 35 a set for my pads. So 70 total.

Agreed ZERO dust from these so far, and any that you do get is super minimal.

So you got the rotors and pads from ZZP?

I might have to go this route for my LNF.
