Sweet kit

But with that much power I doubt it will take long to see engines and transmissions blowing up

No..

Then again with the way some people abuse their cars, I guess anything is possible.

You seriously believe the stock internals can Handel 371 whp, 383 lb-ft?

...Someone who puts this kit on and plans on not racing / and having fun must really love burning money.

Oh and your clutch will also turn into a paper weight too.

We run the car at 20 psi, about 360whp daily and beat it with no issues. The kit will come with a small wastegate actuator so it can be run as low as 10 psi as well.

Like I said, it's all in the driver. If you buy this kit and drive around beating on the car all the time, going WOT whenever possible, then yes, I don't think the motor will last very long. If you drive it sensibly, and get on it every once in a while, I don't see any issues in the near future.

EXAMPLE: My friend owns a Honda Prelude that was turboed by Synapse. It's on the stock block with over 100,000 miles, and is running I believe 10psi on stock everything. No issues at all and he's had it for a while now. Does he drive like a tool, going WOT and spooling 10psi everywhere he goes? Absolutely not. But you can bet that the car has been down the dragstrip a number of times, as well as some nice runs off the track (in a closed environment of course ). It is also maintained properly. Again, it all depends how the car is driven and really comes down to the owner on how long the car can and will last.

It hasn't been tested, but I bet it would fit on all Cobalts. At least the manifold.

I agree,

if driven nice, and not beaten everytime out, I think the car will hold that power.

20 psi and 360wheel will be no problem, keep good gas/oil in it and street tires and you should be fine.

If you go full throttle each and everyday, and are at the track every other weekend on slicks, then it will prob break.

like anything, a good balance is needed.

I am seriously considering this kit,

next spring though

Well the intercooler kit is the same, so you can always add the manifold/turbo down the line

This kid is not to smart. Please go back too school and learn something!

The LNF engine can handle 400whp all day long.

And since your running 400whp all day long you know all there is to know.

So all LNF's that have 400whp are running on 100% stock internals and 100% stock clutch for thousands of miles without any problems at all???

I wouldn't call him dumb, we all have our own opinions.

I also suggest you go back to school and learn the proper use of "to, too and two".

Here is what happened. Me and rallyracer went to the chicago cobalt meet with chevy engineers. They stated at the meeting, the LNF was almost at its full potential around 300hp. Also if you look, most f35 transmission owners were blowing their tranny's over 300whp. Thus we were lead to believe that if the gmpp stage2 did come out for the lnf, it would be conservative. This is what GM told us, if you want to call people that listened to them "stupid" then you are calling GM engineers stupid...thus making your car purchase stupid... At any rate it seems the LNF is forged internals, so I could see it going up to 500hp, the transmission though...not so sure. All you kiddies need to stop repeating what you read in your spam email and barfing it out on the forums.

I've seen F35's well over 300whp and holding strong... IT's ALL IN THE DRIVER.
