I can tune LSJ and LE5, but not LNF yet. I can also do LS1's and all the different cars that come with that side of the house.

Working on Ford, Subaru, and Evo tuning right now also. I would not trust me with those yet though......

Little bit of a thread revival I guess. Lwrs10; Do you have hourly rates for tuning- Im assuming HP tuners.

Do you know your way around the L61?

Why not get HP tuned? It's a better option IMO and ultimately you'll probably get more power. Look two posts up, there is an awesome tuner right by you in CT.

I have HPT Pro and am in the Daytona/St. Augustine area of Florida.
I will not tune your car (unless you need small changes), but I will let anyone use my equipment for a remote tune, adjustments, etc. You pay for your license on it unless it is a 2006 SS/SC since I have that vehicle unlocked completely.

I would be comfortable doing tunes on N/A cars in the El Paso, TX or Las Cruces, NM area. My car does great with 2.4 IM/TB, K+N, and complete exhaust.

So from what I can gather from this post, there is no love for the MD balts? I need to travel to another state for a tune?

I have also considered that, but I would really like to get on a dyno and watch everything that's happening and at what rpm's it happens.

Dyno tunes are over rated honestly. You get better overall drivability from a street tune and still get the same amount of power in the end.

^^^^ This. My first tune was remote. Then I learned to do it myself, however there are very few advantages from being on a dyno. To me it's not really worth the dyno fee to get up there and do it.

The only reason I like the dyno, is you can beat on your ride and not worry about getting pulled over by the cops or worse yet, have a deer run out in front of ya while your at WOT.

If i could get a street tune and not worry about other factors as stated above, then I would rather have a street tune. Like maybe a tuner day at a track.

That is a valid concern any time you do wot pulls on the street but who doesn't do them on a daily basis with these cars?

Here in the near future I am going to be looking at getting my LSJ tuned. I'm from around the "tri-state" part of Ohio. I'm about 40 minutes south from Youngstown. Is Aces still tuning? Or is anybody else around there doing it?
