Can i swap intakes?

Real quick question. Right now I am tuned by zzp with a injen cai on my lnf. Im getting a k&n soon, and was wondering if it would throw my fuel trims way out of whack if i put it on until i get a retune. Ill probably end up getting tuned again in a month. Thanks guys

You probably will need to retune, idk if you have interceptors to check your trims

Why not stay with the injen? You're getting hot air with the K&N since the filter is inside the engine bay,

The difference in temp is minimal. The filter always gets wet even with a hydroshield plus the trims are already ****. I'm pretty sure i read before that its something to do with the location of the maf on it.

I've always heard a cai is pointless on a tc Ss because you have the intercooler cooling air anyways. I have an injen as well tuned by zzp too. But as soon as I get the chance I'm grabbing a k&n Sri because it's more practical to me. Even with the hydrosheild i worry about water. It's a bitch to get to the filter compared to a Sri.

But ya I would get a reflash from them for a Sri just to be sure.

Well mine is actually dyno tuned by them and they are booked for awhile, so i plan on getting hptuners and having kmo tune me. Just didnt know of id be good to run it for a month or so until then.
