HPTuners Question ...

Engine, Airflow, General Airflow, Main VE (Primary) : The software states : "It is also used to provide transient condition correction to the main VCM airmass calculation". Min =0, Max = 4096.

-So first of all, what are the units of those values ?

-Second, can these value affect PE mode ?

-Are we required to fine tune them ?

Thanks !

-milligrams I believe

-if your in SD mode yes they can I don't believe they affect pe mode while you have the maf enabled though.

-required? no.

SD = speed density, which is your VE table tuning I beleive

the units of those values are labeled on the side of the graph, "mass air pressure in kPa"

-Second, can these value affect PE mode ?
Yes, they do, as they are a baseline for your PE. Your PE tables are multipliers

Yes and no, you can run SD mode and rely completely on them, the stock method which is a combination of VE/MAF, or you can run pure MAF/MAP and ignore the VE

look around on hptuner's forums for open loop and closed loop methods used... that has to do alot with what your looking at..
