IAT2 numbers, whats normal??
Gotta be something along the lines of trapped air in your system... I've never seen anything higher than 148 on a 2.95" pulley and option B. With the cruise control set at 60 mph my IAT2s hover 20 degrees warmer than the IAT.
I have the SFPHQ hub, unless someone has a 3" or larger ring to fit that hub, I don't have anything else bigger to swap it with. I have an Intense hub, but it has a 2.6 ring on it and the only other one I have is a 2.5"
Yeah, its not exhaust, its heat related. Boost climbs after the IAT rises. I'm going to try running it when our temps come back down to normal and then pull the fuse on the I/C pump, and run again. I should still see a difference, but the logs lead me to believe that the pump is not working during the runs for some reason, this will tell me for sure.
why park it i throw on a bag of ice ontop of the supercharger. i was at 80 degrees for my iat2s when i get to the start line when it was about that warm out. the only cooling mod i had back then was that my fans and coolent pump turned on the second my ignition turned on.
but it only takes a short amount of time to cool anyway.
and i usually just use it as a good time to go grab somethin to eat and watch a few passes
Ok, bit of a question here. I just started logging the car with HPT today, and my IAT2 stays around 120 when driving normally, but on a nice 40-120 pull, it climbs straight up, peaking at over 220 degrees. It does come back down pretty quick, my pump is working, I also have a dual pass and the C/A H/E. Any ideas what it could be? Blower worn out inside maybe?
Thanks in advance for the help guys.
