need some help here

i installed an intake on my 05 ss/sc, and now im getting some "spitting" if you will. when im not accelerating hard the car jerks and if i punch it im fine. anyone with infor please help. do i need to get it tuned?

Hmm, that is interesting.... clean the MAF, make sure all the couplers are tight and there are no leaks... tuning has nothing to do with it!

I would bet a leak is occuring in the couplers and/or dirty MAF from install/oiled filter. Start there

did u install colder plugs too?
if so what kind?

THere is a MAF specific cleaner you can buy. Autozone maybe?

If it's over-oiled, yes. Most of the time though, they don't come from the factory over-oiled.
