Richen Those Tunes!!!!!!!
Drilled 3 small holes in the thermostat.
heh i got a bad one in my truck, i put in a stant 180 today, and it runs a consistant 5 deg.F higher than the 195 stocker, go figure. im going on holidays in 2 weeks, so i have to concentrate on killing the knock in my truck first, and no i didnt tune it. was done 4 years ago. omfg.
Hey Steve. Yep the car runs great. We tinkered with the tune some. One thing I noticed was the LTFT was a little high. Should it not be in the +2 to -2 range on exceleration or WOT? It seems to be in the +5 to +8 range.
Cheers
Hey what is you local web-site?

weather temps, and other factors play hell with the cars. it's just compensation.
well i believe them but its also got to be some thing else. cause ask any one i run 12.8 a/fs to get my 260+ Whp on a 3inch pulley. matter fact i was about to go try and put down 270 on the same a/f. its not suposed to run like this but it does. which means the heat from a smaller pulley must also be whats granading that cyl not just cause you have an a/f higher than 11.2

well i guess i have no room to talk. i did the same thing just to see if i could.
heat plays a huge factor in it. id be really curious to see what your egt's look like after a 0-105 mph sprint
My IAT's hit 240 once i'll leave the rest to your imagination. also my a/fs see 13's at 7200 redline. I short shift at 65 unless i need to wield it
zzp catless, was too lazy to put it on the hoist and plug in on the DP. still rich as a bitch.
to be sure, my LM-1 is a not whacked i had a buddy run his on his car, and then mine to coinfirm accuracy.
was the same.
p.s. area, i see you on hpt forums under same name. I'm Fire there.

I need a winter tune and a summer tune cause it's like night and day.
wierd thing being, my car leans out the colder it gets. this is not normal.
when it's about 80+ degree's, it runs 11.3
when it's below 70. its around 11.6
not good!
my winter ride is a safari AWD w/studded grips. the poor balt hasnt seen too many snowflakes. it is such a POS in the snow. i had to pull it out into the lot a couple times during the winter to fit cars in the shop, and it gets stuck in 1 " of snow. damn pirellis.
it got to the point i would hook a tow rope onto it and back it out, cause for sure id have to tow it back in, lol.

That is normall. Colder air is denser meaning you need to compensate by adding more fuel. Why do you think most of the motors blew in the colder climates?
Your MAF will compensate for air temperature when reporting back a frequency to the PCM.
Engines will pop in colder climates due to increasing amounts of air entering the cylinders resulting in higher cylinder pressure, not an air/fuel issue, at least on these car's stock engine management system.

Thats true in a speed density setup where people have removed IAT sensors.

When it's cooler like 60 degrees and AIT2s are around 90 i'm right where i should be like 11.3ish.
