I don't know if we would have HPTuners permission to do that. That's a little different than sharing between friends.

Well they generally let you install their program on as many computers as you need. You still have to have a cable to do anything other than peek around. And tunes are perfectly safe to share, because they are not the property of HPTuners.

exactly...if people are willing to share, i could easily throw up a site for tunes (listed by mods the tune is for) and example tunes to show newbies how to start off

I will list up stock stage tunes, but my tunes make me ~$7,000 a year and I write them for each individual car. I don't really want my name on a canned tune anymore because there are so many differences between the condition of peoples MAF sensors etc. It doesn't make me look good when people think that my best work is a canned tune that doesn't work on their car because their setup is different or the timing is off for their factors.

oh i understand that man....im really aiming for giving people a place to start...and a way to compare tunes to see what was changed to make different mods work...not whole tunes in a can, just some structure for people to learn on

Nope, the cable requires credits, so you have to buy the whole thing. When you buy HPTuners they give you a CD with a WAY outdated version of the program on it, mainly so you can install Microsoft NetFramework2.0 incase you dont have it, and the Channel A and Channel B drivers for the cable. Then you have to log onto their website to download the new version.

All you are basically buying is a cable with 8 magical credits on it, and a sticker that says SUPERCHIPS, not even HPTuners! LOL!

Sig sez you've got 60's and a 2.8 pulley. Stock stage 2 tune won't help you there.

Hey guys, I appreciate the concern, however this tune would NOT be going on my car... Just because I have relatively few posts on this forum, doesn't mean I'm a n00b. I am going to be purchasing HP Tuners soon, and I would just like to have the factory Stage 2 tune to look at. Please send it to me. Thanks!

Okay, pm me your email address. I can send you the file.

You have to download the program to look at the file, I think some dude on here hosted it for me because it is too big of a program to email.

Will anybody be willing to send me the HP Tuners software? I would be willing to offer some hosting of the files for other members. The newest version of VCM Suite is much appreciated it. Thanks...
