Timing adder tables?

When I was retuning my car for the new fuel tables last night I noticed my high octane timing map was a good 3-4 degrees under what the car was actually running. (currently set to be a curve maxing out around 17, but my car would get up to 20, and dropping the curve on the table didn't seem to change the actual timing).

I'm at work and don't have my laptop with me so it's probably something obvious, but what's adding to this table to get my actual spark timing? I'd like to zero it out and have full control over the timing. (unless there's some reason not to)

Cheers.

Not sure off the top of my head but I'm pretty sure that wouldn't affect it anyhow. It's not matched to the high map if that's what you're thinking.

Yeah if your car gets kr, itll go to the low octane map, another thing it could be is pe enrichment timing adder

when it comes to timing, every thing matters, iat2s, kr, rpms, boost, adrs. yadd yadda yadda.

read my post. If your car reaches a certian amout of kr itll go into the low octane, wut it seems like is your iat2s are getting warm s it is taking timing out

Yea, it's not getting that much knock (like 2 at the very top end before I shift) so it's not kicking over to low octane. I'll look into the PE timing adder; that's probably what it is. Is that table located in with the other PE tables?

Yes. I think he's talking about the power enrichment rate? I think mine is set near 1.5-1.6.

In ure timing settingz it say afr pe/cot advanced timing ontop of the advanced timing in ure high octance map. Kr are will limit timing any kr is bad I feel I am running 21 of timing with out kr other then fake knock. I myself think it's gonna be ure kr table. Even tho u might not go into te low octane table if u get kr u will lose some timing because of knock retard. Iat2s will also limit timing . Ect also limiit's timing colder ect will increase timing on top of the timing table and the warmer the ect the car wil either take no timing away or take some timing away. This also goes for the iat2 ect, with heat. Hopefully u understand..... If u need help pm me
