Trifecta tune for LNF

Just wanted to get some input about the trifecta tune from Vince. Preferably from the guys who have it on their cars. Just want some info about reliability, the difference in the feel of the car, what you trifecta owners recommend when ordering the tune etc. Im sure theres a thread similar to this but i couldnt find it and the ones i found did not answer my questions.

I have a 2009 SS/TC with Injen CAI...

I have the Dejon charge pipes and a ZZP catless downpipe and I just got the basic switchable/hidden tune from Vince. Basically, it turns your car into a friggen monster. Plain and simple...I love it. I'd recommend getting everything you are gunna wanna do to the car first then tuning it. That way you only have to tune once instead of after you do one thing...then another, like I did.

Just saw you were in Kentucky...where at?

yah there is definately a lot of threads about this but i wont bust your ***** for it...i have the trifecta hideable/switchable tune in my competitive mode...mods are Injen CAI and charge pipe, catless downpipe......and lets just say your going to need to invest in tires soon if you get this. It is definately worth every bit 0f the 300 dollars. its a pretty cool feature to be able to switch from stock to tuned on the fly, and as stated earlier, get your modding done first so you dont have to be tuning and tuning for diff. aftermarket parts....hope this helps good luck

I've only lived here for the place 6 months so I don't know where that is, but its good to see more Kentucky people here. We gota get a meet together or something.

My tune spikes me at 24psi and I level off at 22ish...I friggen love it and can't get enough of it

it's one of vince's tunes. if you are making 23-25psi than you have what is called the infiniboost tune. your dealer should tell you that. mine did.

Im kinda new to all this tuning stuff but from what it sound like the switchable tune would be the safest route to go but one question where is the best place to get it from?

Yep, thats where I got mines from. You fill out the tuning form. They will want to know your VIN (opitional) year, make and model of your car and what you have done to it. Then they will call you. I've always been called within 24 hours. They will verify what you want and take your payment over the phone. A couple days later you'll get a package

Yes that is true.

You get the same tune from a local trifecta dealer, so if there is one in your area, you can save money on shipping and deposits.

Also, just to correct an earlier post (assuming I read it right), giving your VIN is NOT optional, it is needed to code the tune file correctly.

Hope that helps!
