I have an 06 SS S/C

So I finally got my tune done.....



....I must say I can't be happier

Chevycobaltss3 is a great tuner. Above that though he is a great guy. Very friendly and helpful with great advice. I will admit this is the first time having a car tuned but he explained it to me so it would make sense.

Honestly, my car is a blast to drive now. been driving for around 3 hours. The tune makes everything pop, the work before mean something. My car is snappy and responds great to throttle response. Getting on it in second makes it slip and that just makes me grin every time.

I am running solid 12's with occasional dips into the high elevens (afr) and 15 to 16 pounds on a 2.9. However, I know how to smooth all of that out, keep the power, but lower the boost

Final verdict. If you are in need of a tune and are willing to drive or want someone to come to you, pm Chevycobaltss3. He works with you during the tune and it gets great results. I KNOW my car does not compare to many, but it quite possibly is the faster car I have ever been in.....because I didn't get to ride in his lol. But I like that

Got a revise with James this past weekend. Went to a 2.7, changed to iridium plugs, and added some timing

Just like before James did an amazing job, I haven't had long to really "play" but thats a whole different story. If you have been tuned by James you know how he does it and how he explains anything that doesn't make sense. If you haven't been tuned by James you probably should be (at least if the search is on for a tune).

I will check my AFR's today but if I recall its right around 11.2, 19* of timing, and I didn't even see the boost. Like I said I will check on my way to work.

Anyway, Great tune by a great guy

Fo sho. Hopefully the mbc comes in this week. My slow ass car is getting the James treatment for a good 3 days lol. I'll be in Nashville for the meet. My boss is supposed to be hooking us up with a guy down here with a dyno so hopefully we can get some numbers. With James tuning it should be a beast by the time were done.

Fiona? I just need a clutch. Mine really can't take it. Hopefully before the meet so i can see my numbers. Not too eager to push it on this stock clutch. Kinda sucks lol, new tune and I should feel a need to keep it down. Cars suck ftw.

 

But for real more on James he definitely answers any questions even after the tune. He wants to know how it is running because he wants his work to be great work.
