wideband question
ok i kno what a wide band doesand thats its definitally something you should have while modding your car. but what exactly is the best one out there and do they make ones so that you dont need to weld in a bung. the only exhaust place by me wants like 150$ to do that which i think is a lil expensive. so do they make one that will work as an o2 sensor and a wideband.
im buying a smaller puller and injectors today, im gonna get a wideband b4 i install it i just wanna kno what to get

shouldn't cost more than $20 to get it welded in. A wideband sensor is an o2 sensor, but reads 0-5v rather than 0-1v. It measures your air/fuel ratio. skip the pulley and injectors, and get the wideband.

I think he was asking if there was a wideband that you could put in an existing o2 sensor bung that could read wideband, but also act as a narrowband so he dont need to add a bung.
I do believe that there is one that replaces your stock o2 sensor and can send a narrowband signal to the computer, but you could also just get an o2 simulator to trick the computer in to thinking you have a sensor. It just clips on the harness.
Its been a while since I did my research on widebands, I already have one, but maybe someone else can chime in with which one acts as both...
Just found this.
