Vibrant finally has the Cobalt Exhuast!
Just received a shipment of vibrant items today. We found a great exhaust system on the load. It is a 3" vibrant cat back for the cobalt!!!

I have this system on my car has been onfor about 3 weeks now. Far better than the corsa touring I am trying to sell right now. Well worth the money sound is better 1 pipe with flange at muffler instead of 3 like the corsa. All polished as well. Well worth the money for anyone who wants a exhaust. i dont have any dyno numbers or pics either as my camera is broke.

Gains on a stock (or stockish) car will be the same as any other good flowing catback. I think they claim 10hp. I would imagine on a more heavily modified car this exhaust will really shine.

The reason is simple really. It relates to exhaust backpressure vs. velocity. You want low backpressure but a high exhaust velocity. Too large of a pipe and you lose the later. I agree with the 3" not being overkill though.
