Cool TWM Employee Rides thread!

Hey everyone,

For the fun of it, I thought that I would post some pictures for 8thcivic to see what our employees ride to work in everyday (during the summer months of course ) to show you guys that all of us at TWM share your passion in modified cars! I hope you guys enjoy the pictures!

Also I realize, there's no Cobalts but I figured you guys might want to see anyways

Car #1 - Patrick from TWM Performance's 365whp turbo D16. The car was originally built to be his daily driver, but as time went on, it evolved into the track/street monster that it is today.

Car #2 - Mitch from TWM Performance's R32 Skyline GTR. Mitch bought this mint condition GTR only a few month ago and already has some big plans. The guys at TWM are going to be pulling the motor in the coming weeks for a rebuild to make some big power come summer 2010 Stay tuned for pics of the build!

Car #3 - TWM Performance's WRX. This car was purchased by TWM as a shop car. Over the years it has undergone numerous modifications both inside and out. Unfortunately the car was sold, but all of us at TWM will remember the fun we had building this ride!

I'll update the thread periodically when we have some new goodies to showoff

Feel free to leave any comments or questions!

Patrick

Just to give a small update;

This past weekend Frank, Mitch and myself took the engine out of the Skyline. It came out fairly smoothly and now the engine build should be starting soon . I have a few pictures of the engine removal that I will post up later this afternoon!

Once again thank you to everyone for the comments

To be honest, it's not that bad. Here in Canada, we have alot of JDM RHD cars. I've driven alot of my friends RHD cars, and yes initially it's abit awkward, but you quickly get used to it.

^Thanks man! If you want its for sale lol

Ok here’s the update everyone!

Keep in mind that the shop doesn't have a lift yet so we did our best lol

Once the bumper was all dismantled, fluids drained, and jacked up.

Strapping the RB in

Engine being pulled...man these engine bays are tight...making sure everything is disconnected lol

Empty bay ready to be shinned up, and a new engine planted in.

Engine on the hoist and the end of two long days of work

So this weekend we were supposed to tear down the engine to provide you all with some sexy rb26 internal pics, but we didn't get as much work done as planned. However some progress was made

Everything on the exhaust side has been taken off the block and the oil was drained

More updates to come; stay tuned!

Here are the pics I promised everyone. Not too much going on but Mitch removed the old manifold and turbos off of the RB on the weekend. So here are the pics to hold you over until the new goodies start coming in!

Sorry about the failed pictures everyone. I had originally posted them from Mitch’s personal album, but since photobucket deleted them due to too many views, I uploaded them onto the server here at work. So everything should be good now

Thanks,

Patrick

So this weekend was the engine disassembly. Everything went smoothly and now all the parts are off to TK Race Heads here in Montreal for some cleaning and machining.

Here are the pics!
