Just to make sure I got this correct because knowledge of lights is my weak point. If I have stock cobalt headlights or the projectors the HID kit will work right? Another words, the kit will work with any type of headlights you have?

NO.

Stock headlights require 9007 bulbs.
Projectors require H1 bulbs.

this kit itself will work great. but if you buy 9007's and then buy projectors....you will have to buy replacement bulbs (not the whole kit)
Replacement bulbs are about $100+

I was curious about the difference in light output between the 4300K and 6000K. I figure that the 4300K would have the best light output, but how much better is it than the 6000K?

I have 12k's and i love them. I have Hell of alot more light output than stock! They work great. I don't see why people always say you lose alot of light out put when you go to a higher k. Mine put out more light than my friends 05 TSX with stock HID's and Projectors.

I have a 9007 kit left over from my Grand Prix...

its just the bulbs and ballasts and wiring harnesses...

do HIDs only (no projector) work fine with the Cobalt SS headlight housing??? or will the light go ALL over the place??

I believe Lexus is the only company that currently engineers a HID friendly REFLECTOR housing for some of their vehicles.....all the rest are projector.

Basically HID + Reflector (unless its lexus) = light all over the place.

well i dont know if thats the tearm... but...

we put HIDs in our grand prix's and the light is pretty much straight... (not a dead cutoff like true projectors) but i know im my SHO taurus it blinds EVERYone..

my 2 friends have mustang GTs... halogens stock... and there is a decently fine line with just HID bulbs (hid kit.. with balasts and all that)

so im asking if you just buy the ~$180 ebay hid kit.. and install that into stock housings.. with it be okay?

We'd advise staying away from Ebay for kits. Not that there aren't good quality kits, but for the most part, they're a waste of money.

Our kits work very well with Cobalt halogen housing. At $200, you really can't go wrong.

Thanks in advance

cobalt hi low kit

Not sure if you want to waste your money with this company. I've ordered my kit and been trying to communicate with them for almost two weeks. My high beams still don't work. Not sure if they ever will. The support from this company is absolutely horrible.
