Exclamation WTB - WANTED Carbon Fiber Hood

Looking for OEM style carbon fiber hood for 2dr. Looking either new or be in pretty shitty condition considering I'm just going to be cutting holes / wrapping / painting it.

Prefer local but will be open to shipping if reasonable. I also have a stock OEM white hood in perfect condition if anyone is interested in doing a trade.

Thanks for any help guys.

If you are going to cut/wrap it why bother with cf/fiber glass? The weight difference is negligible. Commercial Cf hoods are just for looks. Just cut a steel hood from the wreckers

Because I still want cf...for if I end up not doing a wrap on it. I don't see anyone jumping up to say they're getting rid of a hood...

I'll argue you on the weight. My CF hood weighs i think 25 or 30 lbs less than my OEM one.

depends on the manufacturer. The "good" cf hoods are all cf, while some are fiberglass or another material wrapped in cf

I didn't say there was no weight savings. I said it wasnt much. As for someone making a full cf hood for a cobalt. You don't see that on any of the commercial hoods. They are all chopped fiberglass with a cf wrap. Some race hoods are full cf but they are very flimsy. Basically if the hood has the ability to use the stock hood latch it isn't full cf.
