2003 mustang gt. Current mods include: 3:73 gears, 70mm accufab throttle body and plenum kit, light-weight under-drive pullies, BBK cold air intake, BBK off-road x pipe with flowmaster 40 series exhaust, A dynotune from dynosport in Lincoln and a blitz body kit

2005+ the 4.6 is faster than a stock SC and on par with a stock TC.... 2v till 2004 vs 3v 2005-2010. Verano is moving!

 

I love the Verano but it is way too expensive for a compact car.

 

My first car was a 99 Mustang GT 5 speed. It sure felt faster than the stock SS/SC I drove and about the same as my SS/TC stock.

 

2nd car was an 04 GT. It felt fater than the LSJ, but I've raced a friend w/ one and I barely pulled in the LSJ (stage 2) so I would say they were on par with the S2 mods but stock for stock the Mustang is faster.

 

Yeah both my SS/TC and my mustang ran 14.0 at 100-101 MPH stock. Tuned the SS/TC was in another league though especially from a roll. SS/TC bolted and tuned ran a 13.2 at 118 MPH with a 2.4 60ft LOL. Spinning until a couple seconds into 3rd with stock contis at 34 psi and stock suspension and mounts.

I initially misread 34 PSI and thought it was boost he was talking about haha. Probably a similar setup when he ran the Cobra awhile back with similar trap times. (maybe faster since then?)

 

Thats movin out for a stock turbo ss/tc.
I was impressed with my dp/tune 109 trap but 118 is o_O

This race was from a roll, where a 4.6 looses any ability to go fast.

 

Good air that day. Cmiller trapped 118 stock turbo as well.

 

I love new edge GT's lol, From a roll they are soo fun to play with, Owners either pretty butt hurt when they lose or wanna know everything about your car lol

 

2 valves are slow as ****. not much of an accomplishment.
