'06 Cobalt RS v. '94 Civic Hatchback

I'm not too sure that this is a kill or not, but it reminded me of a story my dad told me when he was in high school.

The Story: in '76 my dad (in high school) raced his Ford Torino v Pontiac GTO, they staged behind the football stadium and took off, the GTO smoked my dad, but there was a cop on the corner. The cop pulled the GTO over for speeding, also he broke his trans, my dad just won by default.

My Story: Ok today was the first day driving home from school, since I got my license on Thursday. I'm at a stop light and this '94 black civic hatchback with every rice part you can think of was on this car. The guy looked at my car, and I looked at his piece of ****. I remembered there was a cop usually at a corner passed the stoplight. So I rev my motor and the other guy revs the "kinkoman." The light turns green and the fool smokes me, but like I said before, there is a cop there. Before you know it, he got pulled over and the cop gave him a ticket for speeding in a 45 MPH zone .

I think I won by default

Don't dis the Honda hatchbacks. They can run quite well with very little money. A $1500 hatchback si with a $1000 junkyard turbo kit can run low 14"s.

Sorta funny I guess, but thats also a bit messed up, hell if you were in NJ i would get outta my car and and wreck you just for the insurance premiums from the speeding ticket. Frankly I think its a bit juvenile to go and set someone up for a fall, especially when they havent done anything to you, no matter how "ricey" they look.

You better slow down on the "mods" your car is starting to look like rice to me.... flame seat covers? RS emblems? you have no place to talk about other peoples cars being rice... but gj on the kill/pull over.

The interesting part of street racing is knowing when to do it... and more importantly... when not to do it.

If you're going to be pulling stunts like that.. invest in a radar detector so it isn't you who gets pulled over. Personally I'd stay away from racing for a while if I were you, as invincible you feel now that you just got your license, an inexperienced driver pushing his car has a good chance of getting into trouble... be careful man.

If you read carefully he never actualy raced , just baited someone else into gettin busted with a rev.
AS far as if he would have actually raced who can say but THAT would have been foolish
especially with such little driving experience
my advice ...hit the track like the Tofu and the boys
